Born at Ajaccio  on January 3rd, 1763, he was the half-brother of Letizia Ramolino-Bonaparte, mother of Napoleon I.

Cardinal Fesch became Archbishop of Lyon, Primate of the Gauls.

He passed away in Rome on May 13, 1839.
